AscentPvP Disqualified from Minister Election Amidst Record-Breaking Comeback
It seemed almost impossible. Within 3 hours, AscentPvP had surged from 9th place to 7th, getting into a minister position within the final minutes of the election. He was the Dungeons representative, and owner of the "M7 Guides" discord server. However, just 3 hours before the election ended, a surge started, which at peak rates got him to a speed of 800 votes per hour. This allowed him, within the final minutes of the election, to overtake rembutquaglet.
However, even after Ascent face revealed because he won, moments leading to the end of the election proved costly. He on discord said that he would give away MVP++ to people that voted for him, which was against the election rules. It was only 45 minutes after the election ended that one of the main skyblock admins, Jayavarmen, informed AscentPvP that he had been disqualified from the minister election, with rebmutquaglet taking his place as the 7th minister. In his annoucement, AscentPvP showed our graph and announced that he will be running in the 6th minister election.
This election will be remembered for its dramatic ending, with AscentPvP's meteoric rise and subsequent disqualification. We reached out to AscentPvP for comment, and he gave us an exclusive statement:
"Firstly I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a happy holidays! I understand the admins decision as money shouldnt be involved I simply thought that if there were others who were willing to give away the people should have the ranks. I will be running in election 6 and will be back for glory especially with the minister 5k perk im hoping the 6 elected ministers will back me and my campaign."
