Political Tensions Hit an All-Time High as Protests Spread

Over the past 24 hours, protests originally spotted in several hubs have continued to grow. Suspicion that Dante cults were involved in organizing these demonstrations has now been confirmed, after a co-leader of the official Aura Resistance group reached out to me today. These protests come as Aura is set to gain a record number of votes, predicted to reach roughly 1.6 million by the end of the election, according to Skyblock Election’s models.

According to the co-leader of Aura Resistance, 250mMidas, the protests were organized in part by two Dante cults: DANTE POWER and Legion of the Rising Sun. When the first protest erupted yesterday, a group was officially founded by YouTuber Zj2 and 250mMidas. I asked 250mMidas what the purpose of their group was, and they responded:

“Our cause is really just a resistance all around. We know that we cannot stop Aura from getting elected, but we are preparing to resist when she does get elected. We are considering many steps, but it’s hard to determine the best course of action before we know more about her.”

I then asked about the different factions within the group. This is particularly interesting, as miners have been heavily affected—especially since a potential full-perk Cole was removed to make room for Aura. 250mMidas added:

“Our cause is an amalgamation of many different factions, united with one common enemy: Aura. Some of the factions include the Dante Cult, the Mining Lounge, and the capitalists/basic revolutionaries.”

Finally, I asked why players should join their cause. 250mMidas replied:

“People should join so we can gain strength and put the power of resistance in the hands of the people, and stop this coming dictator.”

It is clear that political tensions are at an all-time high, and with Aura set to win by a landslide, it will be interesting to see how these protests develop over the coming days.

Official Hypixel Skyblock Aura Page Updated, Removes Mention of “Evil Plan”

Yesterday, many players became concerned after discovering that Aura’s old dialogue included mention of an “evil plan.” However, this was changed today, and now the dialogue suggests that Aura had been talking about a “good plan” the entire time, when clearly this couldn't be further from the truth.

This sudden change has sparked even more controversy, with many believing Aura is attempting to hide her true intentions. Only time will tell what Aura’s plans truly are, but for now, political tensions in Skyblock are reaching unprecedented levels.

Meanwhile, a user on the Hypixel Forums, known as MaxHaxxx, discovered that Aura’s skin is actually a plague doctor skin. This revelation has intensified speculation about Aura’s intentions, increasing fear within the community. Despite the concerns, it appears almost certain that Aura will break the all-time vote record in this election.
