Skyblock’s political landscape has shifted yet again, but its not through the rise or fall of a mayor this time. The world’s first Minister Election under Aura’s rule has concluded, marking a historic first in the ongoing transformation of the game’s governance. After days of campaigning and unprecedented advertising across the lobbies, seven players have secured their seats as the inaugural Ministers of Skyblock.

When Aura seized power in a landslide, players expected reform. Instead, they were met with an increasingly oppressive regime. Goons swept through hubs, a makeshift prison appeared overnight, and minor infractions became arrestable offenses. As fear spread, hope shifted toward the one unexpected democratic process Aura allowed to remain: the Minister Election.

Unlike previous elections, this election gave each player an equal vote, regardless of fame rank. Campaigns spread like wildfire and candidates scrambled to win over a population experiencing the second most authoritarian moment in Skyblock history.

Today, the results are official. After a fiercely competitive race, the following candidates have been elected as Ministers, each with unique perks. It appears that the top 3 candidates get additional perks corresponding to their election rank, while ranks 4-7 get one perk each. The perks and names are as follows:

Elected Ministers now get a whopping 5000 votes each, along with the Year of the Pig event.

Fame now increases your vote in minister elections, reinforcing the skyblock hierarchy.

Long-term investment, meaning that each minister will appear with all their perks in the next election cycle.

Thirtyvirus

Adds the Precoursor Drone pet, Diana’s mythological ritual, and a perk that increases mana regeneration when with another player, but decreases it when alone.

Im_a_squid_kid (replaced by Electoral Goon)

Originally elected, but replaced by an electoral goon for attempting to remove Aura’s minion speed debuff. Currently serving a life sentence in prison.

Our final winner, Im_a_squid_kid, has been replaced by a electoral goon, seemingly for going against Aura’s agenda and attempting to remove her minion speed debuff. He seems to currently be serving a life sentence in prison, reinforcing growing fears that Aura’s government is willing to intervene in elections themselves to maintain ideological control and suppress dissent.
